Examples of Rigging a Hot Air Balloon
The balloon basket is pulled from the trailer.
The burner is mounted on nylon support poles above the basket, whilst the rest of the rigging is completed.
The fuel pipes to the burner as routed along the support poles to the tanks.
Leather pads keep the pipes close to the poles and out of the way.
The pipes are attached to the tanks valves.
Attachment to the tanks is via special fiitings which can be made ga tight by hand.

The burner is connected to the basket wires using carabiners.
The envelope is then attached to the basket wires and carabeners.
The envelope nameplate helps in the orinetation of the flying wires.
